Tuna is the perfect meal for those with frequent heartburn. Just watch the spices. This recipe uses GERD-friendly ingredients and the result is a tuna steak full of savory flavor.
In a medium bowl, mix together the soy sauce, olive oil, cider vinegar, parsley, garlic powder, oregano, and rosemary. Pace the tuna steaks in a gallon plastic bag and pour in marinade. Turn bag over in hands to coat tuna. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
Lightly oil grill grate and then grill tuna for 5 minutes per side for medium doneness. Baste the tuna with remaining marinade every few minutes.
Note: you can also preheat your oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for 10-12 minutes instead of grilling.
